Pregnancy is a beautiful thing. However, it can cause fluctuations of your skin type/condition due to the changes in hormones to support your precious little babe. You may experience acne, pigmentation, and/or stretch marks. While there are many ways to treat these, we want to make sure we are taking the best care of you and your baby.

Ingredients to avoid: 1. Salicyclic Acid – is a derivative of aspirin 2. Any form of Retinoids

These ingredients are considered Category C in pregnancy which means they are not tested on pregnant women. The reason for this is when Salicyclic Acid and Retinoids are taken orally, there are studies associated with birth defects. Because of this, applying topically is not recommended.

It is advised to work with your esthetician and OBGYN to ask them about certain ingredients/treatments.

Many changes happen during pregnancy, one of the most obvious being changes to the skin
